“Getting to Know You” was a fun and creative workshop that helped me get out of my comfort zone and become vulnerable with people whom I had not met before. While in an atmosphere of strangers I tend to be more introverted, especially without “liquid courage.” I have been in recovery for almost 15 years, and this workshop brought me out of that fearful state of mind and helped me become more personable. I was stretched in a way to allow others to “get to know me” while getting to know myself on a deeper level.
